I loved working with Liz again, she had modeled for me previously for a Vintage Themed Styled Shoot at Explore Park in Roanoke so it was nice to play dress up with her again in our collaboration with Lauren from Bride of the Fox: Fine Vintage Women's Wear & Lingerie.
Brittany and I stopped in Richmond, Virginia for a bit of exploring on our way to the Chesapeake Bay over the summer. One of the locations that we visited while we were in town was the sprawling grounds of Hollywood Cemetery where we went walking amongst the ghosts.
Puck frolicked around in the warm golden rays of the afternoon sun. He admired the shimmer of the iridescent sequins on structured bodice on his vintage 1950s prom dress; spinning round and round ensuring the tulle would move fluidly as he danced the night away with his fellow attendants. I love taking photos at the fair, the beautiful colors and lights make for an amazing backdrop for portraits. I met Alli and Emma through Instagram and if you connect with me there and you'll probably see your face here at some point too! Originally I was thinking pastel outfits to match the pastel backdrop, but it turns out these girls have the same feels about colors and style as me - all black everything all the time and honestly I think it is probably better that way!
