There is something about summer camp that is super romantic to me. The lush greenery, going out on the river, and spending all day outdoors. A summer camp wedding is actually on my “Wedding Bucket List” and I’m not counting this one to be able to mark it off since I was second shooting for my amazing friend Kristie Lea and was not the primary photographer… Bring on more camp weddings please! Brittany and Michael opted for a “first look” prior to the ceremony out in the woods beside the quiet river. Brittany wore a vintage 1990s lace wedding dress (OMG how is that vintage, help I think I just got old) and Michael wore adorable leather suspenders over his blue button up shirt.
I was so in love with the décor from this wedding, Michael and Brittany did such a great job putting everything together – their floral arrangements were deep burgundy, blush pink, white, and green and oh so opulent. The seating chart was an antique wooden window with the names and table numbers handwritten on the glass. They put together a photo op area with vintage wooden doors that had paint peeling off and a garland filled with more of their beautiful florals. Even their “cooler” was adorable – which was actually an old wooden row boat on its side filled with ice. Everyone danced the night away on the dancefloor which was handmade by the groom and groomsmen.
