Andrew and I have known each other since high school, we were in the same geometry class where I loved to distract him by writing and illustrating inappropriate stories and after graduation we ended up working together as sandwich artists at Subway. He is one of my favorite people of all time, when he called me up one day and told me that he was engaged I was so happy for him that I almost cried. As soon as I met Chris he had me laughing hysterically with his promises of dancing to Gold Digger at their wedding extravaganza. I could tell that he was equally as amazing as Andrew and that I should probably just pack up my life and move to North Carolina so I could see them on a regular basis. I had a wonderful time photographing their photo session around Blacksburg, they were totally down for all of my strange engagement photo ideas (we hit up so many locations: Starbucks, Smithfield Plantation, Hahn Horticulture Garden, Virginia Tech duck pond, and a parking garage). Their rock quarry wedding a couple of months ago was also absolutely delightful complete with a string quartet playing Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga - I kind of have a rock quarry obsession and this place was stunning. Make sure you check back in a few days to see photos from the wedding!
