Samantha and Michael live in Florida so I did not have a chance to meet them until their wedding day. The ladies got dressed and ready in an adorable log cabin right next to the Chateau Morrisette Winery where the wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses hung from a Native American style arrow. The gals sipped mimosas and Red Bulls as they worked on each others hair and makeup. I loved how Samantha’s lace Allure wedding dress complemented the long, lavender, chiffon and lace Alfred Angelo bridesmaids dresses.
Sometimes it can be difficult to get the groom and groomsmen in the spirit of having their photos taken on the wedding day, but this group of guys had a great time! They had great ideas for locations and poses all around the property with the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background being one of their favorites.
Their wedding was full of sweet, personal details like the wedding ring that Michael wore which was made from his late mother’s wedding band. The beautiful floral arrangements were handmade by the bride and her family. Then after being announced into the reception, Samantha, Michael, and his daughters danced to a mash-up of Macarena and Wobble Baby (later on in the night DJ Rey Deskin showed everyone how to do the “wedding wobble”).
